The UK's Best LGBTQ+ Wedding Photographers

Queer couples and allies: I've compiled a list of the UK's best LGBTQ+ wedding photographers so you don't have to! These folks will affirm and adore you – and their photos are absolutely killer.

As an LGBTQ+ couple, wedding planning can be a hotbed of heteronormativity, 'othering', and exclusion. How many times have we heard "so who's playing the bride and who's playing the groom?!" Shut the hell up, Linda.

That's why finding photographers who'll make you feel incredible - while producing the most jaw-dropping snaps - is pivotal to your day going off without a hitch.

I have personally worked with each of these photographers, seen their magnificent galleries, and goofed around with them over our freebie dinners. So I wholeheartedly recommend them!

In no particular order – LGBTQ+ wedding photographers covering London, Bristol, Manchester, Wales, Northern Ireland and the whole of the UK...

Ian "Sidey" Clark

My fellow South London Awesome Gay Supplier (SLAGS, if you will), Sidey is all about explosive colour, mischief, and candour. His Scottish accent will melt you immediately, so watch out for that.

Adam & Dan's pastel fever dream, which featured on BBC's My Big Gay Wedding!

Kim Williams

This Folkestone-based babely bisexual is a leader in the wedding industry, calling out bullsh*t wherever she sees it and making her couples feel a jabillion bucks. WE LOVE KIM, LONG MAY SHE REIGN.

Jess & Chris's ultra-romantic and chic AF wedding

Stephanie & Pril (Stephanie Dreams Photography)

This dreamy queer couple come as a pair to maximise coverage or can be booked solo - but either way, you'll be getting the kindest, most affirming energy and the richest, most romantic photography.

Emily & Eliza's defiantly, loudly queer bash in a Brighton gay bar, no less

Mike Plunkett

If you're looking for a Northern sweetpea to put you right at ease, Mike's your guy. Relaxed, smiley and totally unassuming, Mike will let you get on with having the best damn time while he subtly captures the most beautiful moments.

Maddy & Georgia's three-day Welsh festival wedding - complete with a sensational ruff

Kaleido Weddings

Okay, prepare yourselves for two ridiculously cool cats: V and Lucy's documentary-style snaps are full of life and energy, and you can bet they'll be two of the best dressed guests on the day to boot.

The moment Lemon the dog stepped forward to deliver Ella & Hayley's rings - pure chaos, love it

Rebel Love Club

Steff and Ells have truly trailblazed in the industry, as the loudest, proudest photography and videography team who are putting LGBTQ+ weddings on the map. They'll champion all of your weirdest ideas, and deliver unreal images. You can check out their LGBT+ inclusive directory Rebel Love Directory too - it's jammed with allies and legends.

Marina & Charlie's shoes-off magical woodland ceremony

Inbetween Days Photography

Wife and wife team Laura and Alex are based in Belfast but travel the length and breadth of Ireland and the UK. And trust me, you want them making the flight for you: they're the funniest gals with the most elegant snaps imaginable.

Little is lovelier than marrying your close pals (and getting to bring your gf to work/party) - Craig & Tasha

You absolutely couldn't go wrong with any of the above angels - I'd be thrilled to have any of them at my wedding, that's for sure. I'm absolutely psyched to be working with Jess Rose Photography later this year too, she's definitely one to look at for ultra-classy, dream-like images.
